Home / About us
Tenold is committed to minimizing negative impact on the environmental through the use of leading technologies, educated choices, and innovative thinking. We seek to create a culture of environmental stewardship by planting seeds of knowledge and caring within the Tenold family. We will demonstrate through our choices and actions that environmental prosperity and our own prosperity are found on the same path. These same choices produce sound and profitable business decisions.
“Whether we are entrusted to ship, warehouse or distribute freight, you can rest assured that the job will be completed by a team of dedicated men and women who truly care about the work they do and the people whom they serve.
Everything we do is without compromise to safety and with consideration to the environment around us.”
Our History
Tenold Transportation has been operating since 1968. At that time, Gar Campbell operated with one truck under the name of A&W Trucking Ltd (“A&W”) hauling cable for a number of customers. Several of those original customers represent Tenold’s largest customers today.
In the 1970’s, A&W expanded its fleet of trucks and drivers becoming a regional carrier in British Columbia and Alberta. As the transportation industry in Canada and the US became deregulated, Tenold has experienced a number of milestones in its history:
2004 | Commencement of reel assembly functions in Surrey BC terminal |

2004 | Established terminals in Brampton ON and St Jean Sur Richelieu QC to better service customers in Ontario and Quebec |
